Analyst Briefing

Spectre, Meltdown, and ASLR

On January 3, 2018, Project Zero, Google’s team of security analysts and researchers primarily tasked with finding zero-day vulnerabilities, stated that members of its team, along with other individuals, discovered vulnerabilities, subsequently dubbed “Meltdown” (variant 3) and “Spectre” (variants 1 and 2), that impact modern processors, including Intel and others. In this webinar, Flashpoint provides an overview of this issue and demonstrates how the vulnerability is tested.
